This bug is introduced in upstream acpica. A bug is submitted by cking and we will watch for upstream fixes.

From the #3, root causes are the errors below:

ACPICA Exception AE_NOT_EXIST during execution of method GBAA
ACPICA Exception AE_NOT_EXIST during execution of method GBAA
ACPICA Exception AE_NOT_EXIST during execution of method STOS
ACPICA Exception AE_NOT_EXIST during execution of method GBAA

As GBBA and STOS access hardware pci registers, and this will fail in fwts. I will check whether this can be fixed.

I'm now confused, I ran fwts 14.01.01 against the ACPI tables in this bug and I don't see those errors at all:

fwts --dumpfile=AcpiTables.txt method -

It seems "fwts --dumpfile=AcpiTables.txt method" cannot duplicate the same error indeed. I run both "fwts --dumpfile=AcpiTables.txt method" and "fwts method" and the results are different.
