Bug Description

I have a samsung np-nc110 intel sound card via VT1705 and the sound does not work. In the terminal detects alsammixer me VIA VT1705 HDA Intel card but does not play any sound or speakers or headphones. I have ubuntu 12.04.

This release of Ubuntu is no longer receiving maintenance updates. If this is still an issue on a maintained version of Ubuntu please let us know.
