Bug Description

I just had Pinta crash on me. This is the second time this has occurred. First time I had many open programs, but this time only one other.

I am using Fedora 20, with Xfce 4.10.1 and Pinta version 1.4. Dual-core AMD with 4 GB RAM. Video is Redwood PRO [Radeon HD 5550/5570/5630/6510/6610/7570] [1002:68D9], PCI Express, 64 bit, Radeon driver, etc.

I selected to open a png image of 691.8 KB in size. As soon as the image is selected and the Open button is pressed, it closes down.

Additional note:
I just tried to open it again and additionally had Firefox open to describe this bug, and when I clicked on Open, the system crashed to the logon screen.

Just found out that opening the same image file in ImageMagick also crashed the system to the logon screen.

Maybe it isn't the program? Memory management issue? Bad File? Who knows.

More information. Just tried it again with a good file. Will only open the file (2.1 mb)when there is nothing else running. Therewise it will crash the system.

Can you please do two things:
1. Try installing Pinta 1.5 development version (currently very stable a very near release version): https://groups.google.com/forum/?hl=en&fromgroups=#!topic/pinta/fUttSBGPBRU and report back if the problem persists.
2. Please write exactly step by step instruction how and when system crashes. If there is some error message, please post it here.
3. Also try opening the same image with multiple tools, like Firefox - File | Open ... and other tools. Does this problem appear at exactly the same point as in Pinta? If yes, then it is very likely that something is wrong with your particular system.
