Update manager crashes immediately after opening

Bug Description

I typed "update-manager -d" in the console using Ubuntu 12.04. I got the following error:

An unresolvable problem occurred while initializing the package information.

Please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include the following error message:

'E:Malformed line 60 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list (dist parse)'"

The same thing happened when trying to manually open update-manager from Unity. The update-manager version is 1:0.156.14.11 (I think).

Have you inspected the file '/etc/apt/sources.list' at line 60 for the error? If not please add it to the bug report as an attachment and we may be able to help you sort out the issue.
