Bug Description
I tried installing ubuntu-touch on my system (a convertible laptop). I had to manually resolve an isssue with packagekit, but installation proceeded normally. I logged out (was using unity so far) and tried to log in to a ubuntu-touch session. Lightdm offered two sessions both called Ubuntu-Touch, I chose the upper one. The X server then hang. I killed lightdm, but could not restart it. I tried rebooting (kernel 3.11.0-14), but the screen simply turned bllack instead of showing the startup graphic. Rebooted into recovery, which worked, but still could not start the X server. Rebooting into kernel 3.11.0-12 showed the startup graphic, but the animation just continued playing forever. I removed package ubuntu-touch and as many of it's dependencies as seemed necessary, but the situation did not improve.
I resorted to reinstalling the system, which now works as well as before.
tl;dr: Installing ubuntu-touch breaks everything, need to reinstall system.
