Thanks for the new candidate. For the most part, it looks really nice, and it appears both that you're working well with upstream, and that there are good and useful upstream changes. On the other hand, this revision needs a little work before it can be uploaded, as follows:

1) Please document upstream changes that affect the packaging in debian/changelog. In this case, there appear to be updated manpages, and a upstream cleanup that means the package no longer needs to be repacked, both of which are good and interesting changes. Note that if a new upstream release fixes a bug, it's a good idea to list that as well).

2) As this package is only in Ubuntu, consider attempting to address all the outstanding lintian and linda errors (try with lintian -iIv and linda -v -f long -t E,I,W,X) in both the .dsc and generated .debs.

3) The lack of an upstream ChangeLog (especially with the inclusion of an empty ChangeLog file) is rather frustrating. If you could convince upstream to either include something here, or export their VCS log into this file, it would make review much easier.

Only #1 above is blocking: the others are just suggestions. I've unsubscribed ubuntu-universe-sponsors pending the adjustments: please comment with a new REVU URL and a diff -urN debian/ when they are complete, and resubscribe ubuntu-universe-sponsors for upload.
