nautilus crashes on dropping text

Bug Description

When I drop some text from other application, nautilus (v. 1:3.8.2-0ubuntu2.1) crashes silently, and the second application freezes a bit if it checks whether the dropping is successful. That is in Ubuntu 13.10 (64-bit).
In previous Ubuntu versions nautilus created a text file named 'dropped text' and with the text contained. I expected the same this time.

We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to review all reported bugs in a timely manner.

Ubuntu 13.10 (saucy) reached end-of-life on July 17, 2014.

Do you still see a problem related to the one that you reported in a currently supported version of Ubuntu? Please let us know if you do and in which version of Ubuntu otherwise this report can be left to expire in approximately 60 days time.

Thank you for helping make Ubuntu better.

Unfortunately, I'm not using Ubuntu now anymore, preferring more lightweight (and less user-friendly?) desktop environments. So, I don't have a way to check the behaviour correctly. In XFCE, the “Dropped Text.txt” file is created, as expected.

Thanks for your reply StSav012. Will close using "Invalid" due to the age of the report, the cause of the problem was never established, and no-one else confirmed the bug.
