Bug Description

There are no good types for the character set that we use for network interface and bridge names on Linux. In digging around, there is also no good standard to refer to, so we have to look at what we've seen in practice. I think that the netaddress regexp is actually the same basically, but that may evolve to be more strict over time, so I think we should copy it and call it netdevice.
