Bug Description

1. Ubuntu 13.10
2. HP Laserjet P1102w
3. If possible, run 'hp-check -t' and post the output - see attached.

4. Summary of problem
--------------------------------
- Reporting communications error and 1806 in HPLIP Device Manager
- Several reinstallations of HPLIP-3.13.11 installed on 19-12-2013.
- Printer will print intermittently if at all (mostly not).
- Everything worked fine on Ubuntu 12.04, but an issue elsewhere required an upgrade.
- Initially hp-doctor reporting xsane and gkt2-engines-pixbut missing/incompatibilities but latest hp-doctor run not reporting this problem so assume that part fixed
- Please see attached hp-check.log

5. Steps to recreate the problem.
----------------------------------------------
Just start printing and nothing happens. When checking HP Device Manager, red x checked against printer

What I don't understand , is that while status report from hp-check seems good, the HPLIP Device Manager contradicts this (see attached jpeg)
