Bug Description

Binary package hint: brasero

Hi al
I tried brasero 0.6.0 , clicked on the create Data Project , Create CD/DVD , on the right-hand side the folders show up. I tried to reduce some gaps between the folders but wasn't successful. I am using xfce 4.4.1 (or Xubuntu-desktop 2.34) & brasero 0.6.0-0ubuntu2. Maybe brasero doesn't know how to play nice with thunar?

Hi,

Thanks for your bug report.
(I am not sure to understand what you mean, so please give more details if I'm wrong).
It doesn't seem to be an issue with brasero or thunar, but rather the default behavior of the gtk2 file open dialog: you can see 'search' and 'recently used', then a separator, then your home directory and (removables) drives, another separator, and finally the gtk bookmarks.
On your screenshot, you are pointing a separator.

Changed in brasero:
status: New → Incomplete

Hi Lionel,
Dunno if its a gtk2 issue or something with brasero, while it was a blooper on my part, lemme see if I can explain it better. As far as I can tell there are 2 vertical separators, one separating between the dialog box & Places, one between Places & the and the content of the folder. Now while I can make the work area smaller & hence see the contents of the directory if I want to pull the contents of the directory onto Places can't do that making Places smaller. Please lemme know if that's a gtk issue or an brasero issue.
