vncserver froze when starting it from the command line

Binary package hint: kde-guidance

i just installed the vncserver package from the command line using "sudo apt-get install vncserver" I went to run the package at 1024x768 screen resolution, and it crashed during execution. As far as i know, the vncserver desktop was not started.
