Bug Description

This is just after installing GnoMenu. It worked with one user, failed with another.

This affects GnoMenu, not Awn Extras.

Unfortunately there is no active development at the moment and I am working on
learning Python in my spare time, which I don't have much of currently, to get
the project back on track and up to date. It currently looks like I will be
supporting MATE at first and working to move into other DEs as I can.
