Bug Description

On my Acer Aspire One D150, when I switch to external display using hotkeys (Fn F5), the displays switch OK, but the wireless interface is gone to the effect that the wlan0 interface is not shown in lshw output.

$ acpi_listen
video OVGA 00000080 00000000

The keymap for acer seems to be correct (mapped to switchvideomode).

Following the instructions on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Hotkeys/Troubleshooting I report this under gnome-settings-daemon. Not sure if this is correct, though. Also, I'm a bit reluctant to upgrade my BIOS, but will, if the team thinks it is related (I have 1.03, latest is 1.13. I think...).

Update: this happens also when acpid is stopped, so i guess it really is gnome-settings-daemon's fault.
