Bug Description
grenade's apt_get install script currently runs apt_get update once, just to ensure you have fresh trees. While good for local use, this is terrible for the gate, and shouldn't be done there.
Because the nodepool nodes don't just use local mirrors, but also use the apt.puppetlabs.com apt repositories, the odds of this breaking are actually quite high (currently blocking all jobs from landing).
We should make grenade not do the update in the gate to resolve this.
