Bug Description

Hi, I'm new to Ubuntu and I heard that it was best so I try it. After getting the CD from Canonical, I put it in the CD-Rom, then I choose "Start or install Ubuntu". But after the boot screen loaded successfully, there was a bunch of errors all the way down that all numbers and it kept running running and running. I've tried running in safe mode but it couldn't load. I checked my CD for errors but it said everything was OK. Anyone can help me solve this problem? You know, I'm new to Ubuntu so I might do something wrong. Thanks a lot.

System Specs are below:

Desktop
Windows XP Home Edition SP2
Intel Celeron 2.0 Ghz
512 MB RAM
Geforce FX 5500

Or if you can give us a photo of the error with some digital camera.. but it all indicates it's a problem related to kernel.
