Bug Description

I get a non-fatal error when starting gscan2pdf from the command line in precise.

$ gscan2pdf
Name "PDF::API2::Version::CVersion" used only once: possible typo at /usr/bin/gscan2pdf line 433.
Use of uninitialized value $PDF::API2::Version::CVersion{"vShort"} in concatenation (.) or string at /usr/bin/gscan2pdf line 433.

You don't say which version of gscan2pdf you are using, but it must be quite old, because it was quite a while ago that I was able to fix this due to a new release of PDF::API2.

So you mean v0.9.32-1 ?

Yup - that is ancient. Try the latest version from the ppa.
