Bug Description
There is this deprecation warning on the pyexiv2 home page.
pyexiv2 is now deprecated in favour of GExiv2, a GObject-based wrapper around libexiv2. Thanks to GObject Introspection support, GExiv2 supports Python 2 and 3.
If your application uses pyexiv2, you might want to consider porting it over to GExiv2.
Any plans to move rapid photo downloader to gexiv2?

It's an awful lot of work because many changes are needed, including moving to GTK 3. Unfortunately there are no actual benefits to the end user. But it seems I have no choice.
