Bug Description
To report in launchpad against 'cinnamon':
How to reproduce the stuck-window bug in cinnamon:
In Cinnamon Settings->Effects, make sure desktop effects are enabled in dialogue boxes.
Set "Mapping windows" effect to Scale, easeOutSine, 250ms.
This command line will now reproduce the bug (timing may need adjustment):
zenity --info foo & (sleep 0.2 && killall zenity)
Note: changing the mapping effect to something other than scale works around the problem.
I think it happens when the window is unmapped while the effect is still being shown (i.e. in the first 250ms).
