Bug Description
In 13.04, hibernation and resuming worked fine. In 13.10, running sudo pm-hibernate seems to put the laptop into hibernation, but upon powering it on again, a normal boot process is initiated.

Run "apport-collect 1257400" to attach some useful logs here. Specifically for Hibernate issues the following will be needed: dmesg, cat /proc/cmdline, and cat /etc/initramfs- tools/conf. d/resume. After you have posted the required information, set the status back to new.
