Bug Description

Binary package hint: xmame-sdl

New version of mame is at http://rbelmont.mameworld.info/?page_id=163

The version in Ubuntu is quite old and the new version supports more games.

xmame isn't maintained anymore
you should use sdlmame instead.
(but sdlmame 0.117 isn't packaged yet)

xmame is not supported anymore and mame package roms are difficult to find now.

I think it can be a good new on Gutsy

The latest xmame release (0.106) is already in the repositories.
Project is in a frozen state at present, and it's like to be discontinued.

I feel this should be not considered a real bug.
