Bug Description

for example, this answer https://ask.openstack.org/en/question/7689/linuxbridge-plugin-cant-ping-subnet-gateway/?answer=7785#post-id-7785 currently shows 0 points. But the changelog shows that answer with +15, -5, ... repeating about 10 times, for a total of about +100.

It may be to do with the browser, if you keep clicking the up-vote button. And there is a delay of 1 or 2 seconds before the vote registers, so users will tend to keep clicking it.

Confirmed. Dheeru sees the same behaviour.

I don't understand this bug. Where do you see the logs? I tried to upvote the answer and it worked just fine, no delay.

See the activity on the 'karma' tab of your profile, and look for the behaviour Darragh describes above

I tried a different browser and I get the same delay. Broadband connection is ok ~50/5 Mbps. Maybe I see this because I'm in Europe and there is a greater roundtrip delay to the server in the US.

Yes it is possible. The vote currently updates on the screen only after it's been recorded on the server database.
There is no feedback given during the vote recording stage.
