Bug Description
Currently the Artist tab reports the number of albums for that artist based on the number of unique album cover arts. Normally this works OK, but when multiple albums have blank cover art they are counted as being in the same album.
For instance if your library has 10 Pink Floyd albums but 8 of them do not have cover art, then the app will report that you only have 3 Pink Floyd albums. In addition to being incorrect, this is also depressing because you wanted to listen to Relics and certainly that wouldn't be one of the 3 that you have on the device.
Expected results: Correct album count and continued happiness
Actual results: Incorrect album count and increasing sadness

I should note that this will *probably* be fixed by the move to the new Mediascanner API in the near future.
