Restore Tabs doesn't work anymore in Ubuntu Saucy

Hello,

great tool, thank you very much. The "restore tabs" option doesn't work anymore since the last update to 0.4.7 beta 1 in Ubunut Saucy. I deleted the config-folder to have a "fresh" configurationbut this didn't work also. I doesn't make any difference if the "restore tabs" option in settings is set. However it stores all the recent documents in "file" -> "Recently used" properly. Also after a restart. Any ideas?

Hello Chris,

thank you for taking the time to report this. I introduced the error of passing null instead of empty strings to SQLite as the default instance name which seems to imply different matching rules in the database driver and should be fixed in trunk revision 1385. I requested rebuilds of the daily debs [1] which should be done in a few hours. Could you try those out afterwards and report back here? Thanks.

By the way, the tabs, bookmarks and per-file settings are not stored in e.g. "~/.config" but usually rather in "~/.local/share/data" or "~/.local/share". Look for a file named "database" in a folder named "qpdfview".

Hi Adam,

thank you for the quick response :-) Deleting the file "database" in "~/.local/share/data" didn't bring any difference. However your build (64bit, 13.10.) worked. The error doesn't occur any more. Can I provide you any further help or infos on this? Thank you!

Hello Chris,

I didn't expect that removing the database file would make any difference, but I wanted to point out where that data is actually stored if someone stumbles upon this bug report in the future. Sorry for the confusion.

Other than that, I don't think we need any more information if you consider the issue resolved. (I would maybe sleep a bit better if Benjamin who maintains the Ubuntu and Debian packages could confirm that "Restore tabs" works with the latest daily builds. :-))
