Bug Description

Yesterday night I was playing with preference setting . But I dont think it is the reason behind this problem . I have started using mint15 just the day before. previously I used mint12. there was no such problem. I googled the problem and got some solution her http://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/there-was-an-error-creating-the-child-process-for-this-terminal/ but as I am a newbie i could not follow all that.

I had the same problem and I solved as follows :
The problem : when I open the terminal, it shows "There Was An Error Creating The Child Process For This Terminal'
text was empty or contained only white spaces" with two red boxes in the upper corner containing text "profile preference" and "relaunch"
To solve the problem : Click the profile preferences box, untick "run a custom command". Exit. Close the terminal and relaunch. Thats it.
