Bug Description

I recently upgraded to 13.10 (from 12.04) and my Bluetooth is now refusing to connect to the speakers. Previously both my USB bluetooth dongle and the internal bluetooth used to connect no problem.

When I try to connect the speakers beep (as they usually do when a connection is established), but then they immediately disconnect with a message "Connection Failed: Stream setup failed".

It's a ThinkPad x230 Tablet, and I've upgraded the BIOS for this occasion (doesn't help)

sudo dmidecode -s bios-version
GCET96WW (2.56 )

The ubuntu version is

lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 13.10
Release: 13.10

The package version is

apt-cache policy blueman

Same problem here with an (old) Motorola HT820 that used to work for many YEARS with ubuntu without any problem.

I have the same problem after dist-upgrade from 12.04 to 14.04.
This seems to be specific to blueman, since I can connect to my speakers with indicator-bluetooth on a vanilla Ubuntu Trusty Live-CD.
