Binary package hint: texlive-base
A minor packaging bug.
The texlive package depends on either tetex-bin or texlive-latex-base. Obviously the latter is ok, except that texlive-extra-utils recommends dvidvi which depends on tetex-bin.
However, it is impossible to install texlive and end up still having tetex-bin with no conflicts. This is because:
texlive depends on
texlive-context which depends on
texlive-metapost which conflicts with
tetex-bin
Probably the best solution is to remove the dependency on tetex-bin - I'm not sure it makes sense.

The dependency has been removed in Intrepid.
