file>new->select xres (or yres) causes hang when leaving inputbox

Bug Description

Binary package hint: synfigstudio

Reproduce:
1. Start synfigstudio
2. Select file->new
3. put the text marker in either xres or yres box
4. put the text marker in another box
 -at this point the application hangs with the message (repeated at a fair rate):
(synfigstudio:21361): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_notify_queue_add: assertion `nqueue->n_pspecs < 65535' failed

System:
Feisty i686 on Dell Precision M60
All installed packages up to date

This was reported upstream ages ago and fixed in the latest release (0.61.06). Please upgrade or ask Ubuntu to backport the package to feisty.
