IRIS script problems

clicking the map gets a new window with a region map. Clicking that gets a list of earthquakes, except that one gets an "unresponsive script warning" for Cookiesafe, several error pop-ups that cannot be dismissed, and eventually one that has no body, just title bar - blank. This cannot be closed. Sometimes the dialog box is without text, but the buttons do not work either way.

The only way out of this is to crash Firefox.
Allowing cookies has no effect.

Disabling Cookiesafe allows all to run normally.

in FF25 and earlier, under XP Pro sp3, fully patched, with Cookiesafe 3.1.
