logout, reboot, shutdown, standby don`t work

Bug Description

System:
AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition
ATI Radeon 5770
Ubuntu Saucy x64

if you install the cairo-dock extension and activate the "logout-extension button for the dock" (and even deactivate it), the Ubuntu/Unity side PC-Funktions like reboot etc.... won't work any more only if you press the Powerbutton manual, seems like theres a missconfiguration now, after the click on one menu entry ubuntu does nothing.

PS: this bug causes also on my ACER extensa 5230 (Notebook) & Intel architecture
seems like this is a general Problem

This doesn’t seem to have anything to do with canonical-identity-provider.
