Problem with HP laptop with AMD chip(ATI Graphics). AMD's seem to have this issue

I received an E mail about this bug and,while reading the Forums,a few people started arguing and name calling.
This is NOT kool for any of the Developers & Volunteers.Some of the older machines don't have the Architecture to handle a Linux Platform.In some cases you can install a light version of Mint-LXDE.I've had some limitations but give it a shot.
