Bug Description
Synaptic should set a window caption for the dialog when it is run without parent window (--hide-
When right-clicking on the orange update icon (upper panel, on the right side) and selecting the second menu item ("Install all updates"), a window pops up that has no title. Hence, in task bar it is displayed as "namenloses Fenster" ("nameless window") instead of having a meaningful title (see screenshot below).
IMHO there are two problems with the missing title:
- it conveys a sense of "unfinished system" :-)
- the dialog itself is not that easy to understand (for me), so a title could give the user an additional hint what that application actually wants from him

I've tried recreating this bug with Oneiric and was unable to, given the information you've provided. Please either a) upgrade and test or b) increase the verbosity of the steps to recreate it so we can try again.
