Insert spaces instead of tabs is not working

Binary package hint: monodevelop

The option "Insert spaces instead of tabs" is enabled, but when I create a new class, the code is formatted with tabs.

I have confirmed that the behavior is as expected in Monodevelop 1.0.0 in Ubuntu 8.04
