Bug Description
USB hub containing USB speakers and a Logitech Quickcam. Ubuntu recognizes the
Quickcam as the primary sound 'card' (if it has a mic) and as a result will not
route audio to speakers. Unplug Quickcam, reboot, and USB speakers work fine. I
have read postings on a board (not bugzilla) that report same behavior if USB
speakers are replaced by soundcard. Similar error reported in bug ID 5370 and
4417.
