gear menu missing

Bug Description

I do not know since when the gear menu got lost, but since some time the gear menu in the top, right corner is not displayed. The other notification symbols are still shown.

In the attached screenshot you can see the default notification icons and the one from radiotray.

Would you mind updating to the final release of 13.10? You seem to be running the early beta build. If this behaviour still exists in the official release, change the status of this from "incomplete" back to "new" and if the issue is fixed in the official release, change this from "incomplete" to "invalid"
