weechat formatting becomes erratic and unaliged when wierd string occurs

the string in question that even went beyond buffers and messed up the page was ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉ which was spam and then the display became messed up like in the attached screenshots. To reproduce the bug in lxterminal run screen weechat-curses and then join a channel with modes +CFcgnprtz on freenode after identifying and when someone says it. The text strats wrapping around lines wierd and can attach a screenshot. Installed: (none)
