Bug Description
Hi -
First off, you guys have made the distribution that is going to break through.
So easy to install and use, Windows doesn't stand a chance. My only constructive
suggestion is an even simpler front end to apt-get. So well done - you are
making a difference!
Now the bug. My monitor describes itself as CMC 17" AD, and when the install
configures XF86Config-4 it does this...
Section "Screen"
Identifier "Default Screen"
Device "ATI Technologies, Inc. Radeon 9000 Pro (RV250 If)"
Monitor "CMC 17" AD"
...
This stops X running. I manually edited out the extra quote char and all was
well. Fixing this would prevent a nasty gotcha for some installs.
Cheers!
Greg.
