Bug Description

In the Qt Documentation it says:
"PageStack automatically provides appropriate transition animations as the user moves from one page to another. The type of animation that occurs is fixed according to the user interface guidelines for the platform and cannot be customised."
http://doc.qt.digia.com/qt-components-symbian-1.0/qml-pagestack.html

However, on Ubuntu (Touch) there is no animation at all. :(

It would be also nice if switching tabs would be animated. Maybe the tab pages could move the same as the tab buttons at the top do.

Hi,

The music app will require animations from the page stack to implement the bottom edge as shown in this video [1].

Firstly the toolbar is revealed from a Panel component and then the play queue as a stacked page.
The user should either be able to have nothing shown, the panel shown or the panel and page.

We'd very much like to use PageStack in the Dash, but not without animations...

Instead of the PageStack, we now recommend to use the AdaptivePageLayout to support convergence. Future work on animations will most likely go there, and not to PageStack.

For some cases, there is the BottomEdge which includes animations.

This doesn't affect the music-app any more, as stated BottomEdge or APL are more likely to be used. Therefore marking as invalid for the music-app.
