Bug Description

When a Partner is created, the type of the partner is always set to "contact". Now when we create a quotation and choose a contact as "customer", derlivery and invoice fields are filled with the "contact" but should be filled with the parent-company.

Hello René,

well sadly this is "by design" I should say. You can read how that unilateral decision was taken:
https://code.launchpad.net/~openerp-dev/openobject-server/7.0-fix-contact-company-handling/+merge/157577

At that time I also wrote a summary of the issues we had with the new design:
http://www.slideshare.net/RaphalValyi/open-erp-v7-contacts-issue

If like us you cannot live with that, I'm maintaining the RS-OCB tracking branch based on OCB that apply the contact_id solution:
http://www.slideshare.net/RaphalValyi/openerp-contact-id-solution-to-the-contacts-issue-in-v7

We now stopped trying to get OpenERP SA change his mind on this and we maintain the RS-OCB branch instead. We have some 10 customers using it in Brazil, it works pretty well:
https://github.com/akretion/openerp-server/tree/rs-ocb-7.0
https://github.com/akretion/openerp-addons/tree/rs-ocb-7.0

You can see the diff over OCB here:
https://github.com/akretion/openerp-server/compare/rs-ocb-7.0
https://github.com/akretion/openerp-addons/compare/rs-ocb-7.0

Meanwhile this is usually possible to live with the new design when your localization is friendly with it. But it may give you to much work when you are migrating some large verticals or complex localizations like us.
There are also quite a few regressions left like:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1246116
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ocb-server/+bug/1248151
and many yet to be found...

good luck.
