Bug Description

Binary package hint: mysql-admin

Unable to configure my.cnf with mysql-admin via Service Control because it haven't the permission to write this file.

What user are you running mysql-admin as?

mysql-admin is placed in gnome menu, so it's runnig with the user that i am logged ;)

It's obvious that this user cannot write to /etc/mysql.

But if you provide this function, you must use setuid or at least provide a warning or a note under README.Debian
