K3b "hide first track" burning does not start

Expected burn an audio CD with the first track hidden in the pre-gap
The burn failed to start but did not crash or hang (progress stayed at 0%).

After selecting the gimmick "hide first track" and the starting the burn process, the "preparing write process" and "overall progress" never initiated staying at 0%. The "elapsed time" counted normally. I was able to cancel the burn. However, after cancelling, K3b could not close properly.

This happens when using "Auto" and "DAO" writing modes. Also when it occurs when only simulating the burn process.
