Bug Description

Hello.

I use Ubuntu 13.10 and apt-get 0.9.9.1~ubuntu3.
I have created a repository using reprepro and uploaded it to Sourceforge.net using rsync, However when i add the repository to my system with the HTTPS protocol it gives me a warning message when i do and update:

W: Size of file /var/lib/apt/lists/partial/sourceforge.net_projects_****_files_repository_dists_***_InRelease is not what the server reported 1507 163

And when i remove the old repository and add it again using HTTP, it gives me no warnings message and everything is working good.

The output of:
$ sudo apt-get update -o Debug::Acquire::https=true
would be helpful
