Bug Description
To have health-check routine post installer runs through.
- /var/log/syslog is a very generic dump ground which might be OK for Dev/QA to grep and debug but definitely not convenient for customer use
- In multi node scaled environments it is very likely that we will hit into kinds of issues where N1KV bringup is incomplete just because we missed package installs for some reasons (these might be user errors / config errors / network errors etc.)
- Thus it makes sense to run a health-check post COI bringup, which will give assurance to the user for:
o Completeness of package installed
o Correct versions of packages installed
o And lastly all required services are up and running fine. (e.g. in our case for a compute node DP/DPA and EKLM are running fine)
