Bug Description
When using the package manager to search and install multiple packages, I've noticed that it crashes after about 30 seconds of browsing when a package has been selected for removal, installation, re-installation, etc.
This then requires me to launch the mate-system-monitor as root in order to kill the process.
Main System Details:
- Linux Mint 15 Olivia (64-bit) - Mate
- fully updated (using aptitude)
- 4 GB RAM
- Intel Core 2 Quad-Core @ 2.55 GHz
I have the same issue with 2 other machines that have Mint installed (same installation disc)
Machine 2:
- 8 GB RAM
- AMD A8
Machine 3:
- 4 GB RAM
- Intel Pentium Dual-Core @ 2.4 GHz
I'm not entirely sure whether or not the issue is due to the desktop manager, or another issue. I have tested to see if it's crash was due to my mistake, and found that it happened every time. If this issue can be solved, then the searching and installation of packages becomes more helpful.
