Bug Description
Since the upgrade to 13.10 two days ago I have a malfunction when trying to restart the system. When I choose 'Log Out' at the bottom of the list of the 'start' button, followed by 'Restart' in the dialog window, I get to the login manager instead.

When does this happen exactly? All the time or only after a suspend/hibernate cycle? On top of that, is the package "systemd-shim" installed on your system?
