www.spreadubuntu.org website is failing to connect/website down

Attempting to access the www.spreadubuntu.org website isn't able to connect to the website.

I also tried the .net and .com addresses and they're also failing to connect.

A suggestion made on IRC is that it Looks like it's a DNS/Address/whatever issue instead of a hosting one

The web browser gives the following error message:-

Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to www.spreadubuntu.org

Try reloading: www.­spreadubuntu.­org

I've since been advised that http://spreadubuntu.neomenlo.org/ is up an working

The domain name is not something that anyone in the spreadubuntu project has control over. It is owned by canonical. A few months ago the host's IP address changed due to "upgrades" out of our control. We have not been able to get canonical to change the domain name.

The original request that got the domain in the first place was here:

Spreadubuntu is still available under the original domain: spreadubuntu.neomenlo.org

The ticket deletion looks to have been accidental, I followed up with Canonical IS and they're working on updating the A record.

I've updated the relevant DNS entries. The original ticket got deleted by accident. This bug can be closed.
