Bug Description

I use a dual screen setup and autohide with the launcher on the left.
After the 13.10 upgrade the autohide feature is broken :
- The launcher does not reveal anymore with the mouse (it reveals with the keyboard shortcut).
- I can't move the mouse to the second monitor : the cursor is stuck on the right border of the left monitor. If I move the mouse top right and move fast I can pass to the second monitor)

I tried different settings in ccsm in vain. I could not find any similar issues report except this one : http://askubuntu.com/questions/363205/13-10-auto-hidelauncher-breaks-multiple-monitor-setup

I can move the mouse to the secondary monitor but I have the same problem of launcher not revealing all the time. Usually it stops working when I have a window maximized on the secondary screen. Even after minimizing, the launcher still refuses to reveal with the mouse (works with the Super key though).

Same as initial report. With launcher auto-hide enabled, I can get to and from the second monitor only by moving the mouse quickly across the area covered by the panel and _maybe_ the bottom edge of the screen.

I'm a little surprised this isn't more widely reported.I'm also using the radeon driver ? Does it only affect people using that ?

I am also having the same issue.

I am on Ubuntu 13.04 32 bit. With auto hide enable my launcher never reveals itself(with any type of mouse movement to the left of the screen) unless I press the super key.

Config

Graphics: Gallium 0.4 on AMD RV730

I tried the various solutions provided on askubuntu and ubuntuforums but no use till now.

Same on my Ubuntu 12.04 x64 Laptop. I'm using the integrated Core i7 graphic solution. Few days ago I reinstalled my Ubuntu 12.04 and this problem was fixed. So I believed... Yesterday I played arround with the external monitor to use it's HDMI input for my Raspberry Pi. After I switched back to Mini-DVI Input, my launcher is broken on the second screen again. It's really annoying.

Strange... I just figured out it only affects the "right" monitor. If I change the alignment, the starter is working fine on my external laptop but now broken on the laptop screen. Confusing...

Well, I am now magically fixed.

I appear to have had some Bad Packages from some prior mucking around with the ATI driver. I uninstalled xserver-xorg-core (!) and then re-installed the stock ubuntu packages and now auto-hide plays nicely with my dual monitors.

For reference, I appeared to have had:
xserver-xorg-video-ati:amd64 (7.1.0-makson1~raring2)

instead of:
xserver-xorg-video-ati:amd64 (7.2.0-0ubuntu10)

Hopefully this fixes all of the other issues I've been seeing (random X crashes, screen corruption).

I had the same makson2 package.

Reinstalling xorg did the trick.

Thank you John.
