System menu doesn't respond

Bug Description

Some elements of the system menu do not respond to clicks

- Restart
- Shutdown

After a wakeup from suspend to RAM, the Restart entry disappears

This is only obserable on Macbook Pro Retina 15" (NVidia card)

Ubuntu 13.10 (saucy) reached end-of-life on July 17, 2014.
