Bug Description
In the "General" tab of "Preferences" an option is labelled "Overwrite files to hide content".
A better label would be "Overwrite files to [permenantly] wipe their content" as "hide" implies "steganography", or at worst "encryption", with the possibility of recovery of hidden content, which is contrary to the purpose of securely wiping.

I like the suggestion - How about it saying, "Securely wipe files" or "Securely shred files"
The note to translators says almost that as opposed to what is there in English.
For bleachbit 1.10 that is line 156 of GuiPreferences.py
