Bug Description

Binary package hint: hamradiomenus

I has installed the hole from the ham radio package, after i installed it, there is only 4 programs there are available in the program menus, if i will have the rest into the programs menu i should do it manually, and some of the programs do not have an desktop file, is there an easy way to correct this, because i should use it to an demo of ubuntu and to people there not now how to use ubuntu so it should be an very easy way to solve the problem at.

The programs which are to appear in a given menu must provide that category in a ".desktop" file.

It would be most useful to file bugs against any programs which are available in Ubuntu, but don't provide a menu, or are relevant, but don't list "hamradio" as a category.

I agree with Peter. Each package has to provide its own .desktop file to indicate its availability. Which packages/programs are missing menu entries? Which packages do you have installed?
