Bug Description

When I have internet-connection via mobile broadband (that was configured by command 'sudo pppconfig'), USC think i didn't connected. And not only USC - whole system don't think different.
What happens in result:
1) Can't install any app in USC

What happens in other affected packages:
2) Ubuntu One - do not synchronise
3) Thunderbird - don't search new messages
4) Firefox - always starts in Offline Mode
5) Banshee - din't start synchronisation with Last.FM integration
6) Rhythmbox - the same as Banshee

I attached my settings, they have been configured via 'sudo pppconfig' and located at '/etc/ppp/peers/provider' file.

Hi,

thanks for your bugreporting.

Which device do you use for mobile broadband?

Thank you for the attention :)

i used this device:

Bus 002 Device 003: ID 12d1:1506 Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. E398 LTE/UMTS/GSM Modem/Networkcard

But really it's Huawei, Model E352, adapted for russian mobile broadband company.

Can you attach the output from
 - ifconfig
 - route -n
before plugin the device.

And the

/var/log/syslog

begining with plugin

and after connection

 - ifconfig
 - route -n

again.

Thanks
